About me
Brian Laidlaw is an author and songwriter based in Moab, Utah. He writes for magazines like Outside, Alpinist, Climbing, and Orion, and his debut nonfiction book Erratica: On Climbing, Language, and Touching Stone was released this fall by Milkweed Editions. He continues to tour as a folksinger, and also moonlights (often by literal moonlight) as a climber, establishing new boulders and routes in the desert and Sierra.
