About me
Jenny Darlington-Person is the Executive Director of the Arts Council of Placer County and a development consultant for InConcert Sierra. A former attorney and law professor of 17 years, Jenny traded the courtroom for the arts in 2018, subsequently leading teams to raise over $6.5 million for rural arts organizations. Her strategic pandemic-era leadership earned her the 2022 ACSO Executive Leadership Award. An alumna of the Juilliard School’s Essentials in Orchestra Management, Jenny blends legal, fundraising, and advocacy expertise with a fierce commitment to creative equity. She lives in Nevada County with her husband and a beloved herd of pets.
