About me
Susan Norman is the author of the memoir, RISK, A Life Saved by the River. A retired hydrologist and former whitewater rafting and kayaking champion, she is currently the Board Chair of the Sierra Nevada Alliance and a Grasstops Advocate for the Outdoor Alliance. Her current writing project is a Cli-Fi story set about the collapse of the Colorado River Watershed and the restoration of Glen Canyon, set in 2046. She lives in Lake Tahoe with her partner, Lisa, her 16-year-old son, and their two dogs.
